When it comes to visiting a location such as Benbrook, Texas, it can sometimes be difficult to come up with ideas of how to spend the day, whether you’re on your own or with friends or family. Thankfully, Benbrook is a town that has all sorts of fun and exciting things to do for everyone of all ages, no matter what time of the year it may be.

Here are three fun things to do in the town of Benbrook.

*First and foremost, perhaps one of the most fun things to do in Benbrook is checking out the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. This location is home to a preeminent collection of both nineteenth and twentieth-century pieces such as sculpture, painting, and paper works. Furthermore, this establishment that was designed by renowned architect Philip Johnson is considered to be one of the nation’s most important repositories of American photography. Additionally, it’s also the home of approximately 400 works by Charles M. Russell and Frederic Remington, who are both considered to be the two greatest artists of the American West.

*Another fun thing to do in Benbrook is visiting the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. This is a location where you will virtually be able to enjoy all four seasons at the same time. Regardless of what season it may currently be, there is always something exciting to see. The three most popular gardens here are considered to be the Japanese, Rose, and Fuller; however, visitors are also able to enjoy additional gardens such as the Rock Springs, Native Texas Boardwalk, Back Yard Vegetable Garden, and Four Season. Even better is the fact that more than 90% of the garden is free to enjoy. The only recommendation is that visitors bring both bottled water and comfortable shoes to walk around in.

*One other fun thing to do in Benbrook is checking out the Sid Richardson Museum. Considered to be one of the finest and most focused collections of Western art in the entire United States, this is a museum that features paintings centered on the nineteenth century American West by artists such as Charles M. Russell, Frederic Remington, and so many more. These pieces were collected by Sid Richardson, who, in his time, was both a philanthropist and an oilman.
